Dear women, aren’t you outraged when men shamelessly stare at your body, try to touch you and pass dirty comments when you walk by? Why are we letting such things happen? Why is a women beaten, harassed, raped, killed and looked down upon? Why are we not doing anything for our countrywomen who are living at the mercy of their husbands? We should demand our rights for life and liberty. We should not let this torture become a legacy. 70% of the women in our country are the victims of rape and forced sex. It’s high time that we stop being a silent spectator. It’s time to act and the time is NOW!

Right! What kind of annoyance do you face on a regular basis? What would be your solution for such wretched issues?

Im a man and i loath people who does such things. I have seen husbands beat their wives, i tried to intervene but i was asked to walk away because i was a stranger and it was their personal issue. What can i say about this. I mean i have no words. Orthodox people and as ypu mentioned, shameless too.

on a regular basis, travelling in local buses and trains is a major issue! the way these bastards keep trying to touch n stuff is soo fucking annoying.. i hv seen many girls who simply shift or not react at all! thats not the solution! raising your voice against it is what can change the scenario!

Hello zakiya, I’d like to know what do you do when you are forced to face such circumstances and when when you see other women trying to get away , considering its their fault. I sometimes, a lot many times in fact, wish to be born as a boy. There’s so much freedom!

I think it is so sad if we finish by considering that being born as a boy would have been better and simpler for us than to be a woman. It is the society that has to change and not us. Education is key. Mothers have to learn to they sons to respect women.

Thankfully i have never been “forced”.but when it comes to other women and them trying to get away honestly, i pity them if they cant stand stand for themselves there is no point in me or any other person trying to help them! as for u wishing to be a boy(i was giggling to myself) its not u but the circumstances speakng.

there is no point debating abt it.. thousands of ppl face d same issue but I can’t c any changes except ppl writing it on social sites! instead of writing it.. we shud learn to speak dem out in reality! we shud learn to raise our voices!

Do you raise your voice? I’m sure you have also faced something unfortunate, once in your life.

Reynu, it is more sad to first demand something and then plead for it and in the end, be content with your dreams and wishes. 😭😵😬
