I think no woman should feel ashamed to dress as she feels she wants to. It is men that should not act as animals and respect all women. Woman should stand up if a man acts in a unapropriate way and make him feel really ashamed by telling to other people in the bus how he behaved. If women stand up men won’t be able to continue.
I think it is so sad if we finish by considering that being born as a boy would have been better and simpler for us than to be a woman. It is the society that has to change and not us. Education is key. Mothers have to learn to they sons to respect women.
You are very lucky Amulya! But don’t you think you could have been even happier with a man you chose that you fell in love with and that would have chosen you not because of your family but because of who you are? Don’t you feel it lacks romanticism to have arranged wedding?

However maybe it is good to have a mix – parents chose a first selection and then we do the final one?
But also parents can be wrong and i do not think that arranged marriages stick together because they are better fits but rather because people are more conservative?!
Yes, but if your parents chose the husband for you one could say that they chose a guy that respects you?!
