The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have arrived in India – Who doesn’t love Kate Middleton?
She’s living the dream every little girl (and many a grown woman) dreams of! The ‘average girl’ who snagged the Royal Price William and now lives the life of a Princess – it’s really what fairy tales are made of.
So you can imagine the excitement it brings me to tell you that The Royals have landed in India and are here for a 7 day tour of the country and Bhutan!
Their journey commenced with the couple talking to the survivors and paying their respects to the victims of the terrorist attack in the Taj Mahal Palace Mumbai (2008) – laying a wreath and leaving a hand written note to commemorate them.
They then flew to Agra – to see the TajMahal (also the iconic location Princess Diana has been photographed)
Also on the itinerary – playing cricket with the Indian legend Sachin Tendulkar!
Who do you think is the better player? Well according to our legend Kate’s batting style makes her a natural sportsperson beating William out for the same position.
Missing two of the three balls bowled to her by the children she played with – the one she hit was caught out by the fielders – but let’s not focus on that, instead can we appreciate how stunning she looks in the Anita Dongre ensemble she wore during the match? (Hands down my favourite uniform – can we get Anita to design the Indian jerseys too? I’d love to see some of this flare reflected on to that)
Next up – dressed in a beautiful blue Jenny Packham with her handsome piece of arm-candy Prince William in a tux – the couple attended a gala Bollywood dinner at the Taj Palace Hotel.
