Dolce & Gabbana was founded in 1985 in Milano by Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, two italian designers that worked in the same fashion house. The first collection was started as part as the Milan Fashion week. Dolce & Gabbana did not have enough money to work with professional models so they hired their friends and they used a bed sheet as a stage curtain.
Dolce&Gabbana were inspired by the sicilian roots , animal prints and italian movies. The Dolce&Gabbana woman is proud of her body and provocative but she fears god.
After those precarious beginnings Dolce & Gabbana became a huge fashion empire: it started with a leotard line, then underwear and swimming, perfume, shoes and finally men collection.
