“A scene-stealing Italian sandal in an iconic Firewings silhouette is crowned with a dramatic crescendo of polished flames and lifted by a sky-high stiletto heel.”
AND:
“Red suede and leather flower appliqué sandals from Giuseppe Zanotti Design featuring an open toe, a strappy design, a rear zip fastening, a branded insole, a high stiletto heel and velvet hibiscus flower appliqués.”
These are the description of these masterpieces of Italian shoe designer Giuseppe Zanotti you will find in the internet.
Price range: $1525 and $1595 – and we are talking about US dollars.

Giuseppe Zanotti was born in a village close to Rimini, called San Mauro Pascoli. Before he sacrified himself to delivering amazing pieces of shoe art he was in a different artistic environment – he worked as a DJ in the 1980.

His fashion career did not begin until the 2000. Initially he worked with locally based craftsmen and started to freelance as a designer with fashion maisons.

It was in 1994 that Zanotti took over a small shoemaking company, called Vicini, and now concentrated on designing and manufacturing his own shoes.

He started working on his first collection with a crew of 15 people – now they are 350. The original team also featured a jeweler, a heel and tree expert and an embroiderer, but the number of shoes they manufactured was not that massive. Today however,  more than 350 skilled people work at Vicini and they produce over 400,000 pairs of luxury men and women’s shoes.
