 Here is a cool and healthy cleanser to start your day with. The lemon in this dark green juice helps to retain the colour and enhance the absorption of iron in it. The greens and the jal jeera powder together are ideal for stimulating the digestive system and replacing the lost minerals. Digestive oils in mint aid digestion. Take this on an empty stomach daily. Do not eat anything immediately in order to let this juice do its work and help you steer clear of indigestion.
Ingredients

25 to 30 spinach (palak) leaves
20 mint sprigs , with the leaves
15 coriander (dhania) sprigs , with the leaves
1 tsp lemon juice
1 tsp jal jeera powder (optional)
crushed ice to serve

Method
Hopper / juicer

  1. Juice all the ingredients.
  2. Add the lemon juice and jal jeera powder and mix well.
  3. Add some crushed ice in 2 glasses and pour the juice over it. Serve immediately.


Mixer / blender

  1. Blend all the ingredients using little water (if required) till smooth.
  2. Strain the juice using a strainer or a muslin cloth.
  3. Add the lemon juice and jal jeera powder and mix well.
  4. Add some crushed ice in 2 glasses and pour the juice over it. Serve immediately.
