Since 2008 Deepika Padukone ( Bollywood`lucky Mascot), had attractive roles in certain bollywood movies. Today everyone knows her as a beautiful, powerful actress in Bollywood.
In her new film (comig in theatres in September) she proves everyone how talented and she can be in the pivotal role „Angie“ in „Finding Fanny“. That movie is a 90 minutes satirical Drama/ Comedy movie, made in English and Hindi.
Story
The story is about five different characters living in a sleepy village in Goa. People living in that village are happy the way their live goes day by day.
The movie begins to become more exciting as the old postman Ferdie (played by Naseeruddin Shah), receives a letter which he actually had written to his love his life –Fanny– almost 50 years ago with the ambition to marry her, but due the fact he never recieved an answer from her, he always thought she had rejected him.
But now he decides to find her and four completely different characters from the village are willing to join him:
A young virgin widow Angie (Deepika Padukone), a bitter mechanic Savio Da Gama (Arjun Kapoor), a belligerent artist Don Pedro Cleto Colaco (Pankaj Kapur) and an obnoxious self-appointed “Lady” of Pocolim Rosie (Dimple Kapadia).
On their journey they find meaning to their otherwise pointless lives. It is during this journey that Savio Da Gama falls in love with Angie. Just watch the movie and find out if Angie also falls in love with Savio Da Gama or if Ferdie finally finds his Fanny.
Finding Fanny is a film which features Hindi film actors like Naseeruddin Shah, Pankaj Kapoor, Dimple Kapadia and Deepika Padukone who are all great actors but in that combination they are amazing.
